Shipping policy

Here's how shipping works at North Shore Hat Co.

Processing time

Orders ship within 2 business days of being placed. Orders placed after 12 PM CT on Friday go out the following Monday. Holidays push the ship date by the number of days closed.

Shipping methods and cost

  • Standard (3–7 business days) — calculated at checkout. Free on US orders over $75.

  • Expedited (2–3 business days) — calculated at checkout.

  • International — calculated at checkout based on country and weight. International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their country.

Tracking

You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order is handed off to the carrier. If you don't see it within two business days of ordering, check your spam folder, then email us.

Delays

Sometimes carriers move slowly — weather, holidays, or their own backlog. We can't control what happens after a package leaves our hands, but we'll help track it down. If a package is stuck for more than 10 business days past the estimated delivery date in the US (or 30 days internationally), email us and we'll figure it out.

Lost or damaged packages

If tracking says delivered but the package isn't at your door, first check with neighbors and the local carrier office. If it's still missing, email us within 14 days of the delivery date and we'll replace or refund.

Damaged in transit? Send a photo within 7 days of delivery. We'll replace the item or refund you.

Wrong address

Check your shipping address before placing the order. We ship to whatever you enter. Packages returned to us due to wrong addresses will be reshipped at your cost, or refunded (minus original shipping).
